Our story

Growing Deliberately

At Westwind Labradors, this journey began long before we ever dreamed of raising puppies.

Growing up, I had a yellow Labrador of my own who meant the world to me. She was more than a family dog—she was a part of my childhood, a constant companion, and a source of so many memories that I still carry with me today. Because of her, I always dreamed that one day I would have a yellow Labrador of my own to raise alongside my children and become part of their childhood memories, too.

Today, that dream has become a reality.

We are a family of five, raising three boys alongside our Labrador family. Our dogs are truly part of our family and are raised right alongside our children, surrounded by love, play, everyday family life, and all the adventures that come with it. We take great pride in raising well-loved, family-raised Labradors who know what it means to be part of a home.

For us, breeding Labradors isn’t simply about raising puppies. It’s about preserving the qualities that make this breed so special and helping each puppy find the family where they will truly belong. We want our puppies to grow into the loyal companions, adventure buddies, hunting partners, and beloved family members that Labradors have been for generations.

Our greatest dream is to help other families experience what we have experienced—the joy of growing up alongside a Labrador and creating a lifetime of memories together.

We hope that when you bring a Westwind Labrador home, you aren’t simply bringing home a puppy. You’re bringing home a new member of your family, a companion for your children, and a friend who will be there through countless seasons of life.
